Curry out indefinitely, playoff return expected

San Francisco – After several reports, Stephen Curry has a sprained right ligament in his left foot that will sideline him until the playoffs. Curry left the game early in the second quarter after Boston Celtics Guard Marcus Smart rolled over his foot during a play.

After further X-rays, Curry had no fractures or damage to his foot which is a good sign but it’s a huge loss to the Warriors. Draymond Green just returned to action after dealing with a back injury for two months and Klay Thompson return in January, they are both on restricted minutes.

The “Big Three”finally all played together but that was short lived. There’s 12 games left in the regular season, Golden State still sits 3rd in the Western Conference standings. But the Memphis Grizzlies and the Dallas Mavericks who are both tied for the 4th spot are closing in. The Warriors upcoming road trip includes top seeded Miami Heat and the Grizzlies.
