Curry scores 45 in Warriors home opener

San Francisco – The last game, Stephen Curry said he played like trash. Tonight, he scored 25 points in the first half. That led to a 45 point night for Curry who was also selected in the to 75 NBA players of all time.

After a spectacular performance, there’s know doubt he deserved to be apart of such an elite group. The Los Angeles Clipper had no answer for Curry and basically had to watch the unbelievable performance just like the sellout crowd who chanted “MVP” throughout the game.

“He didn’t miss a shot today in shootaround,” Draymond Green said. “So, we kind of knew it was coming. But he could have missed every shot in shootaround and I still would have known it was coming. He’s an incredible player.”

“Honestly, it’s an amazing honor,” said Curry. “It’s something I never dreamed of in terms of… I remember watching the Top 50 list and the interesting jackets they had, just the names that you saw on that night, I think about 25 more, the last 25 years and what it meant, so to be on that list, it’s amazing. Especially while you’re still playing. It means a lot in terms of what you pour into the game and what I fee like I have left.”
