Warriors Dominate 76ers in Convincing Victory

San Francisco – The Warriors dominated tonight in their 139-105 win over the Philadelphia 76ers. Stephen Curry delivered one of his best shooting performances of the season, going a perfect 8-for-8 from the field with a sprained right thumb.

Golden State delivered a season-best performance, shooting 60.9% from the field. This marked the fourth time they shot over 50.0% and the first since 11/10 at Oklahoma City (50.6%). It was also the team’s highest field goal percentage in a game since shooting 62.2% on 3/24/19 against Detroit. Tonight’s effort ended a 22-game streak without reaching the 50% mark from the field (spanning 11/12 to 12/30).

The Warriors scored 139 points, their second-highest total of the season (140 on 10/23 at Portland). This marked their third game this season scoring 130+ points, improving their record to 2-1 in such contests.

Steve Kerr

Golden State made 22 three-pointers tonight, shooting a season-best 56.4% from beyond the arc (previous: 50.0% on 12/15 vs. Dallas). It was the sixth time this season they hit 20 or more threes, and they improved to 5-1 in those games.

The team also dished out a season-high 41 assists (previous: 39 on 12/15 vs. Dallas) on a season-best 53 made field goals (previous: 51 on 10/25 at Utah). The Warriors are now 9-4 this season when recording at least 30 assists.

Draymond Green

Draymond Green notched double-digit scoring for the 12th time this season, including scoring 15 or more points in two of his last three games. He also recorded three blocks tonight, marking the third time this season he has tallied at least three blocks in a game.

Dennis Schröder recorded 15 points and six assists tonight, both his highest totals in a game as a Warrior. Additionally, he reached the milestone of 1,000 career three-pointers.

“The last 10 days, 12 days have been tough,” said Schroder on his adjustment to new team. “But luckily we won the game today, played very well, shared the ball, played with force. We stayed aggressive, but most importantly, we had fun. We just got to get back to that, and of course, I have to adjust to the team. Yeah, it’s getting there.

The last couple of years, what they’ve been doing has been working, and it’s great. For me, I’ve played with a lot of people in my career, and I can always adjust, whatever they ask me to do, I’m always ready for it. But it’s going to take a little bit of time.”

Stephen Curry

Curry shot a perfect 8-for-8 from three-point range tonight, setting a career-high for most threes in a game without a miss (previously six, achieved twice). His performance was just one shy of the NBA record for most threes made without a miss in a single game (9-for-9, achieved four times).

Curry scored 30 points, surpassing the 30-point mark for the sixth time this season and the second time in his last four games. He also tallied 10 assists, marking his fifth game this season with double-digit assists. This performance secured his 163rd career double-double and fifth of the season.

Curry became the first player in NBA history to make at least eight three-pointers without a miss while recording 10 or more assists in the same game. Additionally, with 40 career 30-point games as a guard aged 35 or older, Curry surpassed Michael Jordan (39) for the most such performances in NBA history.
